While photographing Excapade Sushi’s new Japanese cuisine menu, I saw an opportunity to get creative with something as mundane as squeezing lemon juice onto a serving of salmon sashimi. I have done a number of similar shots successfully before but this one raised the bar with the highest number of droplets in one squeeze. Other than a Levels adjustment to brighten the image and a dose of sharpening, the image is untouched — I love food photography.
